Genesis 2 verse 3 says, ”Then God honored the seventh day and made it holy, because in it He rested from all His work which He had done.”

Are you always placing everyone else in front of you? Forever tending to their needs, wants, and desires all the while ignoring yourself? All resulting in you left depleted, exasperated, and exhausted. God takes time to rest as did Jesus.

A servant’s heart is well-intended, but exhaustion sets satan up to attack weakened defenses. As God’s Warrior, He wants us willing and ready, but also able.

“Jesus, I need Your help to not sacrifice myself to aid others. Left depleted is where satan wants me! Help me live balanced! Love you Jesus, Amen!”
